Under the guidance of our faculty and company executives, the Strategy Project creates a unique opportunity to bring value both to the MBA candidate and partner companies. Your internship project will provide you with commercial insight and perspective, introduce you to cutting-edge research and techniques, and help you to hone your skills in a dynamic environment.
The strategy project
You will finish off your MBA year with a work placement within a Danish company. This is one of the most important features of the Copenhagen MBA that engages you as an MBA candidate in a three-month journey in which you will collaborate with enterprises to tackle issues related to diverse real-world challenges.
Ørsted. Danske Bank. Deloitte. Maersk. Dissing+Weitling.
Real world experience
With support from the careers team, you will agree on a Strategy Project with a company of your choice.
The strategy will be based on a master project as suggested by the company and CBS faculty. The definition and scope as well as the examination element will be mutually agreed upon. Examples of previous projects have included:
- A country-specific market entry strategy for a product developed by a pharmaceutical company
- A viability analysis and execution plan for consolidating global R&D centres into the headquarters
- A product launch by a national agricultural supplier within an underdeveloped beverage category in Denmark
