"The combination of people and performance. I am shaped by team sports and think in terms of collective achievements rather than individual results. My success is directly linked to the success of others, which is why relationships, responsibility, and trust are completely central to me. At the same time, I am motivated by the analytical part of the role – working with data, KPIs, and structures, and translating analyses into action within the business. It is the field of tension between people and data that drives me."
When is your work most challenging?
"It is most challenging during periods of major change. Shifts in strategy, structure, and culture affect people directly, and it requires both clarity and empathy to stand in the midst of it. As a link between head office and stores, I must ensure that decisions both make sense on paper and work in practice. This places heavy demands on communication, prioritisation, and anchoring."
When do you feel most in doubt in your work?
"I experience doubt most during change processes where the results cannot yet be seen in the numbers. When data and reality do not point in the same direction, or when the impact only comes later, it requires the judgment to stay the course. The balance between patience, decisiveness, and adjustment is something I work with constantly."
